The skill I chose was baseball, and I chose baseball because it's one of those sports and things that distract me from the real world. I feel free when I play and I feel at home when I play.
I would always play the sport with all of my family when I was young, but over the years everyone slowly stopped playing. Even though I stopped playing for a while, but then I got to high school and started playing as much as I can, I would play for high school baseball team but corona hit and it all came to an end. I would still go out once in a while and hit a few balls by myself or with cousins.
I feel like I'm pretty skilled with baseball especially when it comes to timing when to hit the ball and getting quick fast throws down the field. I play left outfield so I always have to be paying attention to see if the ball comes my way or not. I'm the one that is in control of the left field, if I don't get to the ball fast enough or miss the catch, that's going to cost the whole team not just me. So I have to always get the catch move up and throw the ball as fast and as hard as I can.
I practice my catching skills as much as I can but hitting the ball is a lot more fun than catching it, so I have been practicing and hitting the ball a lot more. The sound the bat and ball make when they collide is just so satisfying.
