Hello everyone! My name is Melanie Gifford and I'm excited to be the high school counselor in Holcomb this year. This will be my first year in the high school realm. Previous to becoming the high school counselor, I taught 4th grade for ten years and was an elementary counselor for five years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education through Kansas State University and my Master's Degree in School Counseling through Fort Hays State University.
The majority of my time outside of school is spent with my family! My husband, Brock, works for a gas company and helps coach high school baseball here in Holcomb. Our three children keep us very busy with their activities! Kolt enjoys sports, Rowyn enjoys fashion, and Brynn enjoys making us all laugh. We love that Holcomb provides a great place for our kids to grow and learn!
