This was the first meet for a couple of our kids - and we could not have been more proud of them - overcoming the nerves and showing what true Longhorns can do! Congrats to Kaiden Fisher and Sophia Garcia!
Again, I'm super proud of this group of Longhorns. They represent HHS well, and truly exhibit character and teamwork. I'm excited for what's ahead. Next meet will be Tuesday the 16th in Liberal again, this time bowling against Liberal and Dodge City.
If you see these kids around, please congratulate them on a job well done!!

LIBERAL MEET
REGIONALS
Regional bowling was both heartbreaking and celebratory! Our boys varsity team missed 2nd place (and State qualification) by a mere 8 pins. Heartbreaking to say the least. But every coach there told us that our boys had NOTHING to hang their heads at - they fought hard. We are so proud of their resolve to finish strong, and know that they had an amazing season!
We celebrate our bowlers who qualified for state as individual bowlers - Braydon Bastin, Blake Dryden, Emily Dryden, and Sophie Garcia.
We head to state in Wichita next Tuesday and compete on Wednesday. Wish them luck if you see them, and please congratulate ALL our bowlers on a job well done. Horns up!!
KSHSAA STATE BOWLING
