What is the Pulsera Sale?

It is a service project/fundraiser that benefits Central American artists and also your local WHS Spanish Club

We partnered with the Pulsera Project which is a non-profit organization that connects around 200 artists in Nicaragua and Guatemala to schools all over the United States. We sold beautiful, handmade bracelets from Central America for $6. For every pulsera sold, we sent $5 back to the Pulsera Project, and $1 went to the WHS Spanish Club.

The money for the Pulsera Project provides sustainable employment for the 200 artists in Nicaragua and Guatemala, and it also provides funding for :

  • Legal and medical aid for those impacted by the crisis in Nicaragua
  • Scholarships
  • Healthcare
  • Housing
  • Environmental initiatives
  • Support for other social enterprises doing impactful work in these countries
