Mrs. Lora Watson, English Language Arts Educator served as a energizing, engaging, and committed educator for Concordia High School for over 2 decades. Upon her retirement in 2020, Lora graciously agreed to come in and do some cleaning up of our records. As we prepared for a 2021 Bond Issue, and opened a time capsule from 1971, we felt it very fitting to organize and share nearly a century and a half of history of our school system She has meticulously sorted through thousands of records and provided summaries' of the abundance of information to our Board of Education. Armed with her goggles, dusk mask, apron, and gloves, Mrs. Watson has sorted through an enormous amount of broken supplies, trophies, records, and history of our communities schools to provide some great highlights of the decades. She also helped facilitate the additional addendum to our original "A Century to Remember" document prepared for the Centennial Celebration by the 1981-1982 Senior Communication Publication Class. Research completed by Patricia Hanson and Edited by Henry Baxa. Lora Watson's 2019-2020 Journalism students assisted her in her in the preparation of the Addendum document that extended through the years 1981-2020.
