Class of 2028 and beyond

Nickerson HS requires 26 credits to graduate.

English = 4 credits (this must include 0.5 credit of Speech)

Math = 3 credits

Science = 3 credits

Social Science = 3 credits

PE = 0.5 credit

Health = 0.5 credit

Financial Literacy = 0.5 credit

Fine Arts = 1.0 credit

STEM = 1.0 credit

Electives = 9.5 credits

For the classes of 2026 and 2027, all students must complete the following to graduate:

English = 4 credits (this must include 0.5 credit of Speech), Math = 3 credits, Science = 3 credits, Social Science = 3 credits, PE = 0.5 credit, Health = 0.5 credit

Financial Literacy = 0.5 credit, Fine Arts = 1.0 credit, and Electives = 10.5 credits

Kansas Scholars Curriculum (Valedictorian)

Students who wish to be the valedictorian for their class, must complete the Kansas Scholar Curriculum.
