contact me: shenry@usd306.org Hello! I am your friendly K-12 librarian! I have been teaching at Southeast since 2008 as a 4th and a 6th grade teacher, and now I am thrilled to have my dream job as a library media specialist! It is one of the best jobs to help students discover the world of literacy and learning! I love reading (duh), kids (double duh), being outside, Jesus, and spending time with my family and friends. I have a husband (Logan) and two kids (Evie and Olan). I love being outside, bike riding, going on walks/hikes, creating, swimming, and making and eating good food. Life is dandy! Fun fact: My assistant, Mrs. Branfort and I went to elementary school together and were good friends way back in the day! We may have seen Titanic in theaters together more than once, and probably more than twice. Ha! Favorite books: The House of the Scorpion (Nancy Farmer), Small Spaces (Katherine Arden), Gallant (V.E. Schwab), The Book With No Pictures (B.J. Novak), Robo-Sauce (Adam Rubin)
Library Aide: Amanda Branfort
contact me:abranfort@usd306.org Hello! I am the K-12 library aide! I’ve been a part of the Southeast community since 2022 when my daughter, Dawson, started attending SES. Kenna, my other daughter, started here in 2024!I have been with my husband Dane Branfort and we have been happily married since 2011. We also have acquired two adopted pound puppies whose names are Ace and Jake. Fun fact about me you might not know is that I am an identical twin! I enjoy many different things, but at the top of the list has been fitness. I also adore my church, Crosspoint Salina, hiking outside, going to the lake, swimming at the pool, beach vacations and watching movies. Reading is also a large part of my life and routine! My favorite books tend to always be a good mystery! James Patterson is definitely one of my most favorite authors! I'm so excited to be here and even more excited to build some long lasting relationships with the amazing staff and students here at SES!
