About

I am currently in my 25th year of teaching. I taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and Third Grade for a total of fourteen years in Ottawa before I completed my master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology. I have been an elementary technology teacher ever since, and I love it!

My husband, Brian, is a dairy and crop farmer, and we have two wonderful children. Brianna is 23 and is in Veterinary Medicine School at Kansas State University. Brandon is 20 and races motocross. He raced for Suzuki until just recently when he decided to make the change to Husqvarna. He lives and trains in Georgia for motocross for much of the year, but we are always happy when we have him back home.
