Crosswinds provides individual therapy and case management in the USD 284 schools as well as in the community during the summer. They now have an office in Strong City and provide direct services there. Call Crosswinds to schedule an intake or you can walk in during the week day hours in Emporia.
C4 Food Pantry provides food for families in Chase County as well as Friday Food Bags for students PK-12th in USD 284. Contact Mrs. Blaisdell or Mrs. Andrea Eidman for more information. There are no financial standards to qualify for Friday food bags, the only requirement is that the student must attend USD 284. To receive assistance from the food pantry outside of school you must live in Chase County.
