how to use quotation marks
Put the opening quotes, the words, and then closing quotes.
They come in sets, so each has a partner.
Do not space after the opening quotes; it goes right next to the first letter of whatever you are writing/typing.
If ending a sentence with the closing quotes, the period is typically inside the closing quotation marks. Example: "I ate a pizza."
