Graduate Credit

Courses may be taken for professional development points or Wichita State University continuing education credits. These are graduate level credits that qualify for relicensure and can also be applied to column movement on the pay scale in USD 266

To take courses for graduate credit:

-make sure to select enough courses to equal 12 seat hours for each graduate hour you wish to receive

-register   ($65/credit hour) You will receive information on how to enroll when the course is close to being finished.

Important Information for Non-USD266 Participants: There is a workshop fee for EACH class you enroll in.  This fee is for any class you take for PD points OR WSU credit.  The workshop fee is waived for all USD 266 employees.

Example: 1 WSU credit hour=12 seat hours.  Total Cost with WSU credit :  $65.00 (WSU fee paid to WSU) + $40.00 (workshop fee paid to Maize) = $105 per credit hour.  You will be charged a workshop fee for EACH credit hour.  This is due before grades will be submitted.

Example II: 12 seat hour course.  PD points only: $40.00 (workshop fee paid to Maize)

Special Note from WSU: Due to the specialized nature and timing of this program, district PD ends AFTER the WSU Spring semester, so all participants will be enrolled in the Summer 2024 pre-session. As a result, ALL enrollments are final. Grades will post after the pre-session ends (date TBD) and transcripts will be ready at that time.
