Miss Hart
My name is Kelsey Hart. This is my 4th year teaching, but first year teaching 6th grade math at Mulvane Middle School. Before coming to Mulvane, I taught 4th grade in Arkansas City. I am very excited to join the Mulvane family! I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Middle School Math from Wichita State University. I also earned a Masters degree from Newman University for Building Leadership and an endorsement in ESOL. I am getting married this November! We have two dogs, Max and Willow. For fun, I like to ride my fourwheeler, jog with my dogs, and do photography.
Mrs. Landwehr
My name is Katrina Landwehr. This is my 22nd year of teaching. I have been teaching 6th grade science in Mulvane for 17 years. Although I have taught all subjects, science is definitely my favorite! I got my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Middle School Science and Math from Pittsburg State University and my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University. I am married with two children and one dog. I love crafting, gardening, and reading in my spare time.
Mrs. Mort
My name is Heidi Mort and I LOVE TEACHING!! I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from WSU (Go Shox!). This year is my 21st year of teaching, 17 of them in 6th grade. I have been married to Mr. Mort for 26 years and we have two kids. Our son, JJ, graduated from Washburn in May and is living in Emporia. Our daughter, Aubrie, graduated high school from Mulvane in May and is going to Cowley County this semester. We have an adorable Shih Tzu named Rosie who loves to snuggle. For fun, I like to coach volleyball (8th grade assistant at MMS), ride my motorcycle, listen to music, and spend time with friends.
Mrs. Dunbar
My name is Jennifer Dunbar. This is my second year teaching. I am so thrilled to be at Mulvane Middle School. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Newman University and I am working on getting my Master degree from WSU.I have been married for 25 years and have three children and three dogs. When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and playing with my dogs.
