Miss Allen
Hi, my name is Courtney Allen. This is my 6th year teaching, but my second year teaching 6th grade math at Mulvane Middle School. I also am the head 7th grade volleyball coach! Before coming to Mulvane I taught 4th grade in Clearwater. I am very excited to experience another small town and close knit community. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wichita State University. I have a fur baby at home named Pancakes, he is a miniature weenie dog! When not at school I love to read, exercise, spend time with family and friends and travel. I am so excited to get to know you and see the growth we can make together this coming year!Mrs. Landwehr
My name is Katrina Landwehr. This is my 20th year of teaching. I have been teaching 6th grade science in Mulvane for 16 years. Although I have taught all subjects, science is definitely my favorite! I got my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Middle School Science and Math from Pittsburg State University and my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University. I am married with two children and love crafting, gardening, and reading in my spare time.Mrs. Mort
My name is Heidi Mort and I LOVE TEACHING!! I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from WSU (Go Shox!). This year is my 19th year of teaching, 17 of them in 6th grade. I have been married to Mr. Mort for 24 years and we have two kids. Our son, JJ, just started his Junior year of college and our daughter, Aubrie, just started her Junior year of high school. We have an adorable Shih Tzu named Rosie who loves to snuggle. For fun, I like to coach volleyball (8th grade assistant at MMS), play games, ride my motorcycle, listen to music, and spend time with friends.Mrs. Parrott
Hi! I'm Mrs. Parrott. This will be my 15th year teaching in the Mulvane School District and my 8th year teaching ELA. I am also the NJHS Sponsor and Spelling Bee Sponsor. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Emporia State University and my Master of Arts in Teaching from Friends University. I am currently working on my Administration License through Emporia State University. I'm married, have two children, and two dogs. I am the board Secretary for the Mulvane Education Foundation and the Treasurer for the Mulvane Education Association. When I'm not volunteering or driving kids around to activities I enjoy working out, reading, or watching Netflix.
