Hello! I am Mrs. Smith and I will be the 5th grade counselor at VCIS this year! This will be my third year as a school counselor as well as my third year in Valley Center. Go Hornets! I am so excited to continue my counseling journey and cannot wait to spend my year working with these awesome students.
I grew up in Andover, graduating from WSU in May 2022 with my bachelor’s in elementary education. Upon graduation, I jumped right into WSU’s school counseling graduate program and graduated with my master's degree in May 2024! My husband, Dayton, and I will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary this September - crazy how fast time goes by. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and husband, my cats, cooking or reading a good book!
