VCHS Internship Program
The VCHS internship program allows students to explore a possible career field through real-world experience.
Students apply for internship in the spring of their junior year.
Internship starts in the fall semester. It can be for one to four class periods of the students' day, and can go through the spring semester.
The Internship Program focuses on the following professional and employability skills needed in today's workplace:
Applied Academic Skills
Professional Communication Skills
(Entry Level) Technology Use per the Career Field
Content/Career Information Usage
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills
Career Promotion/Service to the Profession
Summary of Top Five Notable Experiences
Employability Skills Assessment
Summative Project: (select one)
Internship Promotion & Senior Night
*All assignment/project instructions and rubrics are provided via Google Classroom, once students are accepted into the program.
