1:1 Chromebook Initiative Overview
The focus of the USD 261 one-to-one (1:1) Chromebook initiative is to prepare students for their future in a world of digital technology and information. As we navigate the 21st century, excellence in education requires that technology be readily available and seamlessly integrated throughout the educational program. The 1:1 Chromebook initiative provides students with a personal device to explore and utilize educational resources such as accessing class content and textbooks online to collaborating with classmates and teachers from both inside and outside the classroom. It also helps by providing our students with the skills to work digitally, collaborate meaningfully, and communicate in connected, real-world ways. Haysville Public Schools strive to use the latest technology to enhance student learning, engagement, and achievement.
