In 2026, we had our senior, Maggie Anderson, get selected for the Education Scholarship at Kansas Thespian Festival. She applied for this scholarship because she wants to pursue theatre education. We are so proud of Maggie!
In 2023, we got six Jester Award nominations for our musical, Into The Woods: Direction of a Show (Kacie Hastings), Leading Performer (Daniel Mendoza), Choreography and Staging (Arabella Turner and Kacie Hastings), Hair and Makeup Design (Lexie Eubanks), Costume Design (Hope East and Nikki Morrow), and Scenic Design (Eddie Hosch). Kacie Hasting later on received the award for Direction of a Show.
In 2022, our musical The Drowsy Chaperone had been nominated for 11 Jester Awards: Outstanding Production, Direction of a Show (Kacie Hastings), Leading Actor in a Female Presenting Role (Laura Baldwin), Supporting Actor in a Male Presenting Role (Orion Turner), Ensemble/Chorus, Production Number (Toledo Surprise), Vocal Music Direction (Sarah Bays), Choreography and Staging (Mackenzie Thrasher), Stage Crew, Costume Design (Kimberlie Skirvin), Sound Design (Caelan Ulrich). Orion Turner later on accepted the award for Best Supporting Actor.
In 2022, our Advanced Theatre Class was able to take/perform Digging Up The Boys at Kansas State Thespian Festival and later on placing 2nd place overall.
In 2021, our Musical Children of Eden had received 10 nominations in the Theatre Kansas: Overall Production, Direction of Show (Kacie Hastings), Leading Actress (Christina Noble-Speedie), Leading Actor (Orion Turner), Ensemble/Chorus, Small Ensemble (The Snake), Orchestra Direction (Riley Day), Choreography?Staging (Kacie Hastings), Costume Design (Christina Noble-Speedie), Lobby Display (Orion Turner). Later on receiving awards for Outstanding Costumes & Outstanding Leading performances by both Orion Turner and Christina Noble-Speedie.
