Course Description

The vocal music program at PRMS will endeavor to make music using healthy vocal music techniques. It will implement an understanding of many singing styles, an awareness of music theory, as well as an eagerness to work together with the director and other ensemble members in a way that is cooperative and supportive. In this class, students learn to sing different parts at the same time. Since choir is primarily a performing organization, students will be required to participate in all performances as part of the grade received for this class. This class can be taken for the whole year or for one semester. Serious choir students, who plan on singing in high school, should choose whole year.
