About Mrs. Proterra
Hello! I am so excited to welcome you to my classroom. I have worked in the Spring Hill district for 6 years. I previously taught kindergarten, and have found that teaching first grade is where I am meant to me. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you and your children this year.
I am originally from Iowa and have my Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Emporia State.
My husband and I have two children, Brooke is a Junior at Spring Hill High School and Jack is in 8th grade at Woodland Spring.
In my free time, I enjoy watching my children participate in their favorite activities, reading, traveling and walking my dog, Coco.
