WELCOME, my name is Mrs. Janie Rottinghaus, and I am beyond excited to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher for the 2025-2026 school year! I would like to take some time to introduce myself. I am originally from Seneca, KS. In 2018, I married my husband, Michael, and moved to Linn, where he manages Carter Creek Cattle Company. We have three daughters, Tatum (4 years old), Taryn (2 years old), and Tinley (3 months old). In my free time I enjoy spending time with family & friends and being outdoors. I look forward to working as a team with you to support your child’s education. I absolutely cannot wait to make this the BEST year yet!

In December of 2018, I graduated and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics from Kansas State University. This will be my 7th year of teaching at Linn Public School.
