Teaching Philosophy

I believe that education is not just about absorbing facts but about developing critical life skills. Here are a few key aspects of my teaching philosophy:

Experiential Learning:

• Interactive Lessons: I strive to create lessons that are interactive and experience-based, allowing students to learn by doing and exploring.

Discussion and Debate:

• Open Discussions: I emphasize the importance of hosting discussions in the classroom. Students are encouraged to voice their opinions, ask questions, and engage in thoughtful dialogue.

• Respectful Disagreements: One of the most valuable skills for kids in this generation is the ability to have disagreements respectfully. I teach and model how to disagree with grace and understanding, fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are valued.

Goals for the Year

• Skill Development: My goal is to help students develop not only academically but also socially and emotionally. By the end of the year, I hope they will be more confident in their abilities to communicate, collaborate, and think critically.

• Positive Classroom Environment: I aim to create a classroom where every student feels safe, respected, and eager to learn.
