3:25 Shuttle bus students are dismissed
3:30 Town students are dismissed
3:40 Route bus students are dismissed
Students may begin entering the building at 8:00. Those students who are eating a school breakfast will go to breakfast at 8am and those students not eating breakfast will go to the walking program. Students are not to go to their classroom or lockers before the 8:20 bell.

At Remington Elementary School (RES), we believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. Together, we work to ensure each student receives the support, encouragement, and high-quality instruction needed to become a confident learner, critical thinker, and lifelong problem solver.
Remington Elementary serves approximately 200 students in Preschool through 4th grade. As a small school, we take pride in creating a close-knit, supportive environment where every student is known, valued, and encouraged to grow.
Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff work collaboratively to provide the best possible education for all students. We recognize that each child is unique, and we are committed to meeting individual needs to help every learner succeed.
Remington Elementary implements the Into Reading Curriculum. This evidence-based program supports and follows the Science of Reading. The program focuses on all parts of literacy, including:
Phonics & Word Study – Learning how sounds and letters work together
Vocabulary – Building strong word knowledge
Reading Comprehension – Understanding and thinking deeply about texts
Writing – Expressing ideas clearly in different forms
Communication – Speaking and listening skills through discussion and collaboration
For math, Remington Elementary uses Big Ideas Math to help students understand the reasons behind using math in solving real-world problems.
Students develop skills in all major areas of math, including:
Number sense and operations
Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Fractions and decimals
Measurement and data
Geometry and problem solving
We are proud to offer 1:1 technology access in Kindergarten through 4th-grade classrooms. Each student has access to their own electronic device, allowing them to:
