All about me

Welcome to my site. I want to take a moment to introduce myself. I am entering my 12th year teaching, my 3rd at Remington High School. I will be teaching courses in government, sociology, and current events. Prior to Remington, I was the 6-8 grade social science teacher at Lakeside Junior High School in Cawker City, Kansas. Along with my teaching duties, I will also be one of the assistant boy's basketball coaches and head golf coach at the high school.

I grew up and attended school in Hiawatha, Kansas, graduating with the class of 2000. After high school, I attended the University of Kansas, earning my bachelor's degree in education in 2005. I earned a Master's of Curriculum in 2014 and Master's of Education Administration in 2015 from Emporia State University.

My wife, Amanda, and I reside in Newton, Kansas. On February 2, 2016, we welcomed on first child, Lincoln, into our lives. With the little spare time our little guy allows us, we enjoy gathering with friends and family, attending various concerts, and cheering on our beloved Jayhawks.
