I will have to cut these steps off the side of the feeder so that the gates will fold up properly.
I am cutting metal for the gates to the right measurements.
I am marking where I will need to cut the metal.
I will have to cut an angle so that it will fit in the gate.
I cut the angle in the metal with a die grinder to get the perfect angle.
I am measure the metal to mark it where i need to cut it at.
I have to grind the old welds off so I can weld the feeder to the frame because the welds broke and the feeder tips backwards.
I welded the bottom of the feeder to the frame.
I am tack welding the side of the gates together
I am cutting the flat steel for the angles so that I can drill a hole and have it pivot so the feeder can fold up.
I am finishing the welds on the sides of the gates so that they are not just tack welded.
I drilled a hole in the flat steel and into the feeder, i had to do that for it to pivot and fold up.
I am grinding the steps off.
The gate is all finished and ready to be used.
