ALGEBRA 2
Algebra 2 is a thorough review and extension of Algebra I. New topics include rational and negative exponents, graphing polynomial and rational functions, matrices, logarithms, and imaginary numbers. Attention is also given to preparation for college algebra. A college bound student should make sure to have this class to have the minimum preparation for college.
COLLEGE ALGEBRA
College Algebra is offered as dual credit through Highland Community College. It includes a review and extension of Geometry, Algebra II, and Trigonometry. This review will help the students to permanently retain the processes previously learned. Furthermore, a deeper understanding will occur which will help retention
STATISTICS
Students learn how to collect, organize, and interpret data using various statistical tools, including descriptive and inferential statistics. The class also covers probability concepts, including probability distributions, expected value, and hypothesis testing.
