Abstract Submission Deadline: September 6th, 2026 (updated)
Notification of Acceptance: September 18th, 2026 (updated)
Dates of the Symposium: November 5th-6th, 2026
All members of the ELT community are invited to send the following types of proposals. After the events, the proceedings of the event will be published. Only those who attend and present at the event will be included.
Research Papers (25 minutes)
Reports on Pedagogical Experiences (25 minutes)
Themed Workshops (45 minutes)
Poster Session (60 minutes)
These are traditional presentations made by one or more speakers meant to share either preliminary or completed research results. The presentations are often 25 minutes in length including 5 minutes for questions or comments from the audience. The presenter(s) often prepare a paper that is typically a more focused, narrower version of their overall research work.
These are 45-minute interactive hands-on sessions where presenters address one or multiple themes based on their academic and pedagogical experiences in the field. Through engaging demonstrations and collaborative
activities, attendees are expected to gain practical insights that can be implemented in their educational contexts. Providing supplementary material during the session is strongly encouraged.
Poster sessions are intended for research proposals, preliminary or final results of ongoing work, or projects suited to visual display. These sessions provide an opportunity for informal discussion between presenters and symposium participants. Graduate and undergraduate students are especially encouraged to pursue this format. Presentation duration is flexible, adapting to the pace of both presenters and audience.
