Hello!
I am Yasin Emre Uskuplu. I am an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics at Indiana University, Bloomington, starting August 2025. I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics in May 2025 from University of Southern California (USC) with the thesis ``Algebraic Equivariant Pair-of-Pants Product from Higher Hochschild Cochains" under the supervision of Prof. Sheel Ganatra.
My research interests span a wide range of topics in both algebra and geometry. In algebra, I focus on areas such as A∞- algebras/categories, homological algebra, Hochschild theory, non-commutative geometry, and algebraic topology. More specifically, I am investigating equivariant structures, homotopy fixed points, and Hochschild theory within the A∞-context. Meanwhile, in geometry, I delve into Fukaya categories, symplectic geometry, and Floer theory, particularly studying the wrapped Fukaya categories of Liouville manifolds, a class of symplectic manifolds rich in structure. Engaging with both algebraic and geometric frameworks enhances my research, allowing me to explore the relationships between these fields.
I earned my M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Koç University in 2019, with the thesis ``An Introduction to A-infinity Categories", under the supervision of Prof. Tolga Etgü. I earned my B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Bilgi University in 2017, with the project ``On Hypercyclicity", under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Kemal Ilgar Eroğlu. ............
