A bit about me
Hello, and welcome to WRIT 150 for Dr. Brent Chappelow! I am an Associate Professor (Teaching) of Writing with the Writing Program in the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California. I have taught at USC since the fall 2016 semester, and I previously taught courses at Arizona State University and Northwest Missouri State University while completing my graduate degrees. I earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Writing, Rhetorics, and Literacies; a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature with a concentration in Composition Studies; and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a writing minor. Suffice to say, I really enjoy writing and learning as much as I can about the processes and practices that help us all to become better writers.
I live in the Los Angeles area with my partner and our two cats, Bagheera and King Tut. When I am not working, I enjoy going to the gym; running long distances; listening to house music; and playing video games.
