As they head into the kitchen, someone in the middle of the action fills up a cup with beer and hands it to Mark. "Hey new guy, jump into this round! My friend is getting sick in the bathroom and I need to go to take care of him. You're on that team." He points to one side of the pong table and a few of Thad's friends from outside wave Mark over.
Mark takes swig and gets ready to start the game.
After a few drinking games with some keg stands mixed in, Mark feels like the king of the world. He single-handedly won the first game in overtime and is having the most fun of anyone at the party. He has no plans of slowing down!

For Mark, the rest of the night continues to go downhill. Eventually, he lays down on a couch and passes out. A fellow party-goer notices that he has vomit around his mouth and on his shirt, and doesn't appear to be breathing. An ambulance is called and he is rushed to the hospital.
