Spring 2026 DRP Application Has Begun!
The USC Mathematics Directed Reading Program (DRP) is a semester-long initiative that pairs undergraduates with graduate student mentors to study a mathematics topic or textbook in depth. Mentor and mentee meet weekly to discuss ideas, clarify questions, and share progress. At the conclusion of the program, undergraduates deliver a 12-minute presentation at the DRP Symposium.
The program is a valuable complement to departmental coursework for students interested in exploring mathematical areas not typically covered in standard classes.
