FAQs
Are there any requirements to be a member?
USC FSC welcomes skaters of all levels! In order to be a competitive member you must be a full-time current student with USC, pay dues, and be a registered member of USFSA (we will help with USFSA membership once the school year starts!)
USFSA Collegiate Membership Info:
U.S. Figure Skating offers a special four-year membership for collegiate skaters. Available for purchase through your home club for $70 ― a 66 percent discount from a full four-year membership, collegiate memberships carry the same privileges as a full membership, including a subscription to SKATING magazine, testing and competition privileges.
Four-year Collegiate Membership
This four-year full membership is available to college-aged members at a reduced rate, and all skating privileges apply for the four-year duration. Collegiate members can purchase this membership through any club for $70 or individually through U.S. Figure Skating for $170. Each athlete may only use this option once during their skating career.

How often does USCFSC practice?
USCFS has official team practice 1 time per week on Tuesday mornings at the Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo, CA. We ask our competitive team to meet for an additional practice during the week, typically on Thursdays. Carpools and rides are organized at the beginning of each semester for skaters to get to practice.
Many of our members will also organize carpools to go for additional freestyle sessions throughout the week at various rinks around Los Angeles (Pasadena Ice Center, The Rinks Lakewood, LA Kings Pickwick, etc).
What will USC FSC member dues cover?
All members pay dues at the beginning of each semester after the "trial" practice. The trial practice serves as a way for prospective (and returning) members to get to experience USC FSC without committing just yet!
Dues Cover:
Official team practice ice
Transportation to and from official practice
Competition travel and housing
1x week off ice room & physical therapy through USC
Social Events
Do we have merch?
Yes! USC FSC has multiple opportunities to buy merchandise, as well as running merchandise fundraisers. Throughout the year, members and their friends, family, and supporters will have the opportunity to buy a variety of Lululemon and Nike USC FSC merch. 😝
