Food Service Workers prepare, heat, cook, and serve a variety of foods, and assist in other related tasks in a designated food service production and/or service area. They also clean and sanitize food preparation and service areas.

While there are no specific requirements for this job, we look for candidates with prior food service experience and those who demonstrate the ability to:

LAUSD is looking for individuals interested in joining our Office of Covid Response Division as a Health Site Support Aide to assist with the operations of our Health Sites and vaccination efforts. Successful candidates may be assigned to any one of the various Covid Testing and Vaccination sites located throughout Los Angeles and neighboring cities. The District is seeking diligent and motivated Health Site Support Aides to fill all upcoming vacancies at all our locations. Qualified candidates will be contacted and should be able to report immediately.

The current need is for 3-month, temporary assignments which may be extended up to 6 months and are primarily located at the newly constructed SoFi Stadium in the city of Inglewood. Hired candidates will receive priority for a Covid vaccination and training.

Position Summary:

Conversion Team members are responsible for changing over the building for the various events that take place. This includes laying the basketball floor, exposing and covering up the ice surface, setting seating risers, building stages, and various other duties.

Careers for a Cause is a 8 week online pre-employment training program offered by Los Angeles Southwest College to prepare South LA residents to compete for careers in social services. Participants will receive a stipend and cases management to support their participation in the training.
