Hi there, my name is Eunice. I'm a fourth-year at Roski.
For my comic I took aesthetic inspiration from Korean, Japanese, and Chinese cultures from various time periods. For the clothing of my characters, I chose a meld of the hanbok, kimono and hanfu. Please note that I took creative liberty with this comic, so not everything that is represented is historically accurate.
This comic is very experimental as it was my first time making one. I'm used to reading comics from right to left, so it felt natural to have my story use the same format.
There are multiple translations for "Nami," but in Korean it means sea. The moon's surface also has plains that look like bodies of water, hence these plains are called "maria" which is of Latin origin and means sea.
Thank you for taking the time to check this out!
