A bridge where the load bearing structures are connected in the shape of triangles.
Why did we choose a Pratt Bridge?
A Truss bridge with vertical members connected to the diagonal members that form the triangle.

- Model: Pratt Truss Bridge (we believed it would be the most stable)
- "Linkin' Logs" idea was to be used as the base under the road to provide extra support (the basal wood was stronger on its side than when the pieces were flat)
- Add more reinforcements throughout the bridge to ensure sturdiness

- Use Bridge Simulator to find the best model
- Compare bridge types to find the best option
- Tweak the model to the materials given to us
- Decide dimensions of the bridge based on the robot and our materials
- Use the scale model to begin executing our bridge

Programming: Wrote a practice code after the robot was completed to see how far it would move in x amount of seconds and then using different times tested until we found the perfect time to cross the bridge. We then had the robot wait a second at the end of the bridge then return to its starting spot.
