Hello, I'm Ángel Sánchez-Daniel, a dedicated first-generation Ph.D. student specializing in labour economics. Currently pursuing my doctorate at the University of Salamanca, my academic journey has been marked by a strong foundation in economics. Under the guidance of my supervisor, Miguel Ángel Malo Ocaña, I am immersed in the realms of Labour and Health Economics.
I pursued a Master's degree in Labour Economics from the University of Barcelona, Autonomouos of Barcelona and, of Girona, and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Salamanca. My research interests are causal inference, microeconometrics, health economics, and agricultural economics, reflecting my commitment to exploring multifaceted economics aspects. I am a proactive participant in various research initiatives, co-authoring several ongoing working papers. Notably, one project delves into the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of the elderly, utilizing Generalized Propensity Score and addressing issues of imperfect sample compliance. Another project integrates remote-sensing agricultural data into micro-economic modeling, informing water reallocation policies to mitigate climate change, as part of the AWARE research group at the USAL.
My dedication extends beyond research, as I have consistently presented my findings at conferences and academic events.
