Ako - Learn
In the last 4 sessions you have been learning about what information is ok to share online. You understand the difference between private and personal information and how photos can sometimes give people information you'd rather not share.
Hanga - Create
Using all that you now know about sharing online safely, create a story about you in Book Creator. Look back to lesson 1 when you had to decide whether Cooper or Ruby were Cybersmart. This is the type of story you will be creating but about you.

Step 1: Click the link here.
Step 2: Click Sign in.
Step 3: Type in the Code from your teacher to the Smart Footprint Library!
Step 4: Click on New Book and start creating.
Step 5: Make sure your book hasn't been saved with your whole name as the author! (Video #2)

As a class decide what a digital footprint is and what are rules we can follow to make sure we have a small digital footprint.
Hanga - Create:
Create in pairs a comic strip explaining what a digital footprint is, why it is important to make sure you think about what you are posting and how you present yourself online.
Tohatoha - Share:
Share the completed comic strips. Post the completed work on individual blogs if you have them or a sample on the Class Blog.

Learn how internet awesome you are by completing the red and yellow island challenges.

Make sure you take a screenshot of your completed challenge and pop it into the document that your teacher will have shared with you or to pop onto your blog.
