Alumnae Induction

When: Tuesday, May 14th at 8:30 AM.

Where: Auditorium, O'Hara Hall

What: The Alumnae Induction ceremony is a part of the graduation exercises and is not optional. Please write down your alumnae guest's name in this spreadsheet.

The Alumnae Association hosts the ceremony to induct the senior class into its membership as alumnae to continue the Ursuline legacy and sisterhood. 

A formal group picture is taken of all legacy students and their alumnae relatives on the Merici steps following the ceremony, weather permitting. 

A breakfast reception is hosted by the Alumnae Association after the ceremony in O'Hara Hall. The reception concludes between 10-11 a.m. and the students are free to leave campus. 

The day before is the practice for alumnae induction along with graduation practice. 

Reservation Information: This event is for students and their alumnae relatives and alumnae guests. The Alumnae Office will send invitations to alumnae relatives and reservations should be directed to Katie Balek Kempf '01 in the alumnae office. (314-984-2892 or kkempf@ursulinestl.org

Seniors are asked to submit the names of their alumnae relatives on a Google form for their alumnae relatives to be invited.

Dress: This is a semi-formal event, and therefore appropriate clothing is required (summer day-time wedding attire). Sundresses are usually worn. Length of dresses should be modest and appropriate (and to the knee).  All B's should be covered. This ceremony is held in the chapel and the attire should reflect the respectful nature of the venue.
