Summer Fun & Games

Ring in the summer with a variety of amusing and enjoyable activities designed to keep kids active and engaged! Capture the flag, scavenger hunts and improv games coupled with childhood favorites like hide and seek, red rover and duck-duck-goose are sure to keep even the most restless among us entertained throughout this not-to-be missed event!

Hybrid

Storybook Creations

Join us for a fun two-week summer adventure filled with stories and creativity! Each day, students will enjoy a read-aloud of a favorite picture book followed by a hands-on craft using paper plates, utensils, colored paper, and paint. Campers will build creativity, fine motor skills, and a love of books while having fun with friends.

Solution Seekers

Step into a world where we will focus on hands-on activities that foster critical thinking, social skills, and independence!  In this class we will practice solving problems through puzzles, games, creating, role-playing, reading stories, teamwork, and many other fun activities.

Adventure and Discovery Camp

Get ready for hands-on exploration, creativity, and adventure every day! Campers will become dinosaur hunters, space explorers, ocean adventurers, pirates, and survival experts through exciting STEM challenges, creative art projects, movement games, and interactive experiments.

Each day brings a new mission filled with teamwork, imagination, and discovery!

Sports Games

In this exciting session, the instructor runs fitness, team sports, and elementary games to help ensure kids are active, learning, developing skills, and having fun!

Imagination Workshop

Students will explore foundational art skills through drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media projects. Each day focuses on a different technique, allowing campers to experiment with materials and learn how artists create their work.During the second week, students will use the skills they learned to design their own characters, creatures, or trading cards. They will bring their ideas to life through 2D and 3D art projects.

This camp encourages creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression while providing a structured, engaging environment.

Zumba Moves

Ready to stretch and just dance? Grab that water bottle and spend some time stretching before hitting the dance floor with this active dance and movement section!

Solution Seekers

Shark Tank Jr.

Students will create their own product to sell to the community. Proceeds will be donated to a chosen charity. This two week course focuses on economics and includes specific topics on: buying, selling, profit, advertisement, and marketing!

Get ready to serve, rally, and score! In Net Games, students will learn and play exciting games like pickleball, volleyball, and badminton in a fun and supportive environment. Students will:

• Practice basic skills such as serving, hitting, volleying, and rallying

• Improve hand–eye coordination and teamwork

• Learn game rules, scoring, and sportsmanship

• Build confidence while staying active

This class focuses on skill development, cooperation, and having fun while learning the fundamentals of pickleball, volleyball, and badminton. Whether students are new to net games or already have experience, everyone will have the chance to learn, play, and grow! 🏐🏸

Let’s Put on a Musical

Students will become familiar with a "mini-musical" by reading through the entire script (dialogue, musical selections, stage directions, costume suggestions, etc.).  Students will then have the opportunity to choose the level of participation most comfortable for them (speaking part, chorus member, dancer, etc.).  Most of this session will be spent rehearsing songs, scenes, dances, etc., with the goal of performing the mini-musical on our final day.

Art Masters

Bring out your inner artist to create skylines, abstract art, and more.  Every session will give you the opportunity to create a different piece of art.  You will also learn about different artists and how they used geometry to create their pieces. 

Net Games 

Get ready to serve, rally, and score! In Net Games, students will learn and play exciting games like pickleball, volleyball, and badminton in a fun and supportive environment. Students will:

At Build It!, campers will:

Coach DeVivo’s Basketball Camp

Coach DeVivo’s basketball camp is a physical and educational opportunity for children to enhance their basketball skills. Children will engage basketball fundamentals while also learning team work, coordination, resilience and leadership.

Fun with Improv!

Students will learn the basic principles of improv comedy and will practice these within a variety of standard improv "games". Participants will engage in all daily activities and demonstrate great improv growth over the two weeks together.  Students will showcase their improv skills in a short performance on the last day of camp.
