Homework

Good homework habits start in Kindergarten. Your child will receive homework assignments each night (located in purple take home folder). When completing homework, be sure your child is seated at a table in a quiet area of your home, so they are able to do their best thinking. All homework must be completed in pencil (unless it is specified in the directions to use other materials). Encourage your child to do their best work and offer assistance when needed.

Please be sure your child completes his/her homework in a timely fashion. All late work must be completed by the next school day.

In addition to nightly homework, we expect you to read with your child for at least 20 minutes each night. Please remember to record the books you read in your students Book-It Folder (starting in October).

Purple Take Home Folder/Seesaw

Please make sure to check and return your child’s purple take home folder every day. Homework, projects, and any additional information will be sent home and communicated through the purple take home folder. We will also communicate important dates, share photos, and post additional activities through Seesaw. You will receive an invite to join Seesaw.
