The Fine Arts programs are an important part of the education of Union Ridge students. These courses foster creativity, problem solving skills, and an appreciation for differing view points and cultures.

Mr. McCormick
I have been teaching art classes to Kindergarten through Eighth grade students here at Union Ridge since 2003! I really enjoy seeing all of the enthusiam and creativity of the students and how they develop their ideas and skills over the years! Feel free to contact me at smccormick@urs86.org
Ms. Rooney
I have been teaching at Union Ridge since 1998. Music is a form of expression and creativity. We are so lucky to be able to offer a wide variety of music classes and experiences at Union Ridge. My goal is to provide students with many musical performance activities in both band and general music. Students are exposed to many musical genres as well as music from different cultures. Mrs. Tinnirello
This is my 5th year teaching Italian K-8th grade at U.R.S. I strive to provide my students with a full immersion experience in the Italian language and culture. My goals are to instill in children the interest in learning a new language and enrich their knowledge of a different culture in order to be better global citizens in the future.
