The virus is not going to go away anytime soon. The virus depends on people who are infected to propagate it. Even if you stay indoors and avoid contact with others, the virus can still spread elsewhere from person to person.
Studies are showing that the risk of outdoor transmission of the virus is much lower outdoors than indoors. Staying indoors in confined spaces is more likely to transmit the virus from one infected person to others around especially in air conditioned spaces. As long as you avoid contact with surfaces or people when outdoors you’re probably relatively safer outdoors than in. Some early data suggests that the virus is inactivated quite quickly on exposure to sunlight which is another good reason to get on your bicycle.
Improving your overall health might keep away or mitigate chronic diseases like hypertension or diabetes which are known to be risk factors for contracting the severe form of COVID. Physical exercise has also been shown to improve overall immunity. While cycling might not directly influence your ability to fight COVID, it can help indirectly.
Keep social distancing in mind. Try to wear a mask as much as possible. Avoid sneezing or coughing without covering your mouth and nose. Avoid touching surfaces and touching your face. Wash hands frequently.
