Chatty Bench Festival 2021

The Chatty Bench Community Festival is a free, all-inclusive event held over four weekends that aims to bring together the various community members of Kelvin Grove in the shared act of storytelling and thus showcase and celebrate the socio-cultural diversity of the community. The central theme of the event is creating a sense of community, belonging and connection.

The festival is kid-friendly, drug-free, alcohol-free and cigarette-free.

The festival is open to everyone, regardless of people’s age, disability, gender, gender identity, race, religion or belief or sexual orientation.
