See those little green patches around the park in the above map?

An Available Tree

Tree in Kulgun Park

Those are the trees in Kulgun park. The trees (see left) are our natural live installations in Kulgun Park. You can pitch an idea to highlight the trees (see right) in your own creative vision.

KEY CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Only two tree installations per Festival Saturdays will be accepted.

  • Setting up and packing down around a specific instance of the Chatty Bench Festival (Saturdays 13/9 to 4/12)

  • Utilizing one of the available trees or the nearby bus stop (shown to the left of benches 1 & 9)

  • Avoiding creating too much waste (recycled materials would be great!)

So have a ponder, fill in the form below, and keep in mind that these are actual, living, imperfect mediums, so if you need a specific tree then let us know (or we will allocate spaces based on spreading people out a bit). Also some flexibility in approach is required as none of the trees may do exactly what you want them to do. Additional Installation Examples
