The Urban Assembly Resilient Scholars Program (RSP) is an integrated social-emotional learning model specifically for middle and high school students. RSP uses a whole-school, three-year embedded model where schools learn how to organize themselves around the principles of social-emotional development.
These concepts focus on building students’ confidence and self-awareness and promoting general social competence by helping students develop the skills to reason through a wide variety of social and emotional situations. The UARSP model consists of three main elements: direct instruction to students; schoolwide implementation, integration, and sustainability; and assessment of student progress.
