UPS          Health  Office

Welcome to the Health Office!

Upper Pittsgrove School staff believe that healthy children learn best. It is our goal to facilitate optimal health, growth, and learning in order for our students to have success in school. Medical treatment will be administered to your child following Standing Orders from our school physician in accordance with school board policies and best nursing practice. Health screenings will be completed each year as per New Jersey state guidelines.

Upper Pittsgrove School requires that all newly enrolled students must provide a physical examination form upon entry to the school district as per the NJ state guidelines.   There are also immunization requirements as per the state of NJ that are required for preschool, kindergarten, and sixth grade. It is important to receive medical care for your child at least once during each developmental stage: at early childhood (preschool- grade three) , pre-adolescence (grade four through six) and adolescence (grade seven - twelve). These physical examinations should be conducted at your child's medical home.
