Ulul Albab – Innovation Competition & Exhibition (UA-ICE) is the main programme of the Pusat Ulul Albab, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris which has been successfully organised annually starting from the first stage in 2023, the second in 2024 , the third in 2025 and the fourth in 2024.
Since its initial organization at the national level, UA-ICE has been a strategic platform in unearthing innovative talents, critical thinking and the ability to solve real problems based on the values of the Quran and Maqasid Shariah. Among the themes of the previous organization that have had a significant impact are:
Innovation Based on Quranic Values
Integration of Naqli and Aqli Knowledge in Innovation
Social Innovation and Ummah Sustainability
Education, Social, and Technology
The success of past editions, which involved wide participation from schools, higher education institutions, and strategic industry partners, has motivated the Ulul Albab Center to expand the scale of the event to strengthen global networks, knowledge sharing, and the transfer of best practices at the international level.

Enable participants to hone and showcase their talents and ideas by creating innovative, creative outputs.
Provide opportunities for lecturers, teachers, and students to contribute ideas and innovations aligned with the Ulul Albab components (Quranic, Encyclopedic, and Ijtihadic)
Establish Ulul Albab as a center of excellence that fosters a creative and innovative culture in the development of high‑quality, beneficial products for all.

JUSTIFICATION OF IMPLEMENTATION
UA‑ICE 2025 Series 4 is organized as a platform for school students, undergraduates, academics, industry players, and professionals grounded in the Ulul Albab tradition to showcase innovations, creations, and designs within their respective fields.
The implementation of this program supports the Malaysia MADANI aspiration to build a creative, integrity-driven, and knowledgeable society. In this era of technology and globalization, innovation not only empowers education and management, but also cultivates the values of ihsān (excellence), respect, and sustainability-fostering a holistic generation that contributes to national development.
UA‑ICE 2025 Series 4 is a competition highlighting product commercialization, ideas, inventions, and designs that embody high-quality innovation based on the Quranic, Encyclopedic, and Ijtihadik components.
The competition will be judged by a panel of industry and academic experts experienced in innovation, commercialization, and research. The theme of UA‑ICE 2025 Series 4 is “Ulul Albab: Driving MADANI Innovation.”
