A word from our Principal, Jayne Hofstrand

Greetings Cougar Families!

As many of you know, we have traditionally held “Back to School Night” near the start of each school year. The purpose for the event has been to enable parents and guardians to meet their students’ teachers and learn about content, classroom policies, and procedures in each of their students’ classes. While we are unable to hold an in-person event this year, we do hope to achieve the two aforementioned goals and further develop a productive partnership between our families and the school through a virtual Back to School Night event.

You are cordially invited to view the informational slides and documents on the included pages to learn more about your student's teachers, their classes, and the entire CJH staff. Each set of slides contain a bit of personal and professional information about each staff member as well as course-specific information about learning goals for the year. Additionally, each staff member has shared their contact information and described how and when they will communicate with you. They have also posted copies of their course syllabi.

I hope that the information shared by our staff will open the door to ongoing conversations about how to best support our students as they grow and learn this year. Thank you for taking time to review the information provided by your students’ teachers!
