About me
Since I was in middle school I wanted to be a librarian. The library gave me a space to dream, to grow, to learn, to hope. Maybe, two of my life goals were born there: to write and to be a librarian.
I am a responsible and service oriented librarian, motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic. I have excellent communication skills, and passion for instruction experiences. I'm also a strong problem solver, computer proficient, flexible and team work oriented.
I have a Bachelor Degree in Creative Writing, a Master Degree in Library and Information Science and a Post Master Certificate in Library Administration. I worked at the Agriculture Experiment Station Library, in San Juan, Puerto Rico giving reference, offering library instruction and developing workshops for our patrons.
I have experience working with academic libraries here in Puerto Rico and with public libraries in the United States. I love reading, writing, cooking and photography.
