Biography

Dr. Venkataramani Kumar (IEEE Member) received his Ph.D and M.S. degrees from University of Dayton (UD), Ohio, USA, 2024 and 2019 respectively. His areas of interests include IoT, Wireless Communications & Network Security, Quantum Computing, AI, and ML. He is also Computing Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institutions (CAHSI) faculty mentor since October 2024. He leads workshops, roundtables, and delivers guest talks regularly at various events organized by CAHSI, UNIDOS, and other well-recognized organizations. He is an active reviewer to top-tier journals, and flagship IEEE conferences such as Internet of Things journal, Wireless Communications Magazine, IEEE Communication Magazine, and Global Communications. He served as Technical Program Committee (TPC) Co-chair of International Symposium on Intelligent Computing and Networking 2025 (ISICN 2025), and session co-chair of IEEE Cyber Awareness and Research Symposium 2025 (CARS 2025). He is the recipient of prestigious Dr. Krishna M Pasala Scholarship Award 2024 from IEEE Dayton Section, and Outstanding Research Award from School of Engineering, UD, October 2024.
