I undertook my undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus in Economics, am currently an MBA student at the same institution and hopefully will become a PhD in Economics in a near future. My research experience employs Ordinary Least Squares, Logit and Probit methods to analyze aspects of labor discrimination and its effects on the racial wage gap. Another branch of my research interests rely on the underground economy. I aspire to write a research project on this topic. I am currently working on the literature review aspect of this personal project.
I juggle my time between my full-time work at First Bank, night MBA courses and math electives. It has been a fun ride until now! But I am ready to work on the knowledge-production aspect of the economics world. So, please do let me know of any recommendations you might want to provide me with on relation to my research projects, code, graphs, career advice or really any constructive criticism you find helpful for the furthering of my career.
All in all, thank you for being here!
Just in case you want to know more about me.
